Compared to other hydration systems on the market, in my opinion the Geigerrig stands in a class of its own. First of all, you can practically run over this bladder with your truck and it will NOT bust. I was never worried about it leaking into my pack!
Since the bladder is pressurized, You will never again have to worry about sharing the funk with your hiking buddy…you can just spray some water his way and hope that he has the skills to catch it in his mouth. And, with the inline filter, you no longer have to pull your pump out of your pack and spend 30 min filling up your water bottle. Just grab the bladder, dip it in the river and BAM! Your are set to get back on the trail. It saves you time!
When you get home from your hike/ride just turn it inside out and throw it in the dishwasher. I used to mess with cleaning and stuffing paper towels down into my hydration bladders…no more of that with a Geigerrig.
