James was able to test the First Ascent Downlight sweater on a 8 day expedition into the Wind River Range. He wore it while training on Mammoth Glacier.

This is a great mid layer to put under a hard shell or worn alone around camp and in town. The quality of this jacket really shines in the attention to details with the zippers and cuffs. It also makes a great pillow while sleeping in the back country.
