Andrew Bradberry

Having spent most of his life in Colorado, Andrew considers himself a Colorado native. During the winter, Andrew can be found on his split-board in the backcountry, and on warmer days he’s usually at the crag or fly fishing. Andrew works in the mountains as a paramedic. He runs backcountry calls on many of Colorado’s Front Range 14ers and ski resorts. One of his favorite mountaineering accomplishments was climbing Mt. Rainer with his brother in 2008.

Whitney Bradberry

Whitney’s passion for the outdoors began young in the state of Florida. She grew up fishing along the coast and playing outside. She was hooked on the mountains the first time she went skiing at the age of 9. She spends most of her free time hiking Colorado’s 14ers, running, climbing, paddle boarding, and backcountry skiing. When she’s not out testing gear she works as the Marketing Manager for the American Alpine Club.

Bradley (Gear Dog)

Bradley is an nine-year-old Blue Heeler who doesn’t like to miss out on an adventure. He’s hiked 6 Colorado 14ers, spent many days lounging at the local crags, and enjoys snow days, road trips, and dog treats. He also likes to make a sleepy appearance in many of our gear reviews.

James Garner (Founder)

James’ passion for the outdoors started at a young age. When he was 15 he began climbing, hiking and backpacking in the mountains of Colorado. At the age of 18 he became a full-time guide for Wilderness Expeditions based in Salida, Colorado. During his 6 years as a guide he led numerous groups into the remote back country. He has been blessed to spend many nights under the stars and many days on top of Colorado’s mountains. James loves to spend time in the mountains, rivers and remote backcountry. He is also an avid snowboarder, cyclist and kayaker.

(Although James no longer contributes to OGTV, the team thanks him for his passion and continues to carry his vision forward by providing helpful gear reviews for those who want to get outside.)
